All about lace – I found a brilliant article written by Karen Donde all about lace weaving patterns. She talks about her history with it, and how to sort through which lace is best for you. It’s very informative! Take a look here to get started on your lace journey!

Setting up your lace project – Not that long ago, I happily released an episode of A Handwoven Experience all about reading a weaving draft. This will come in handy as you set up your loom for your project.

Don’t forget the floating selvedges! – I didn’t mention it in today’s video, but there is a VERY good chance you’ll need some floating selvedges for your project. Unless you specifically add a plain weave border, plan to incorporate a pair of reliable floating selvedges. Your entire experience will be much more pleasant!
