Yes, I’m absolutely bringing you another episode of “Overshot Variations”, but this time, I’m using scale. My plan with this trio of episodes is to start you thinking about how you can tweak your existing weaving patterns, but do it in a variety of fun and interesting ways.

Today, I’m tackling the idea of scale. Scale can refer to the size of the yarn or the size of the pattern, so the options are endless. I’m bringing you with me as I play with scale in “Chris’s German Pattern” so you can see just one way to play with a weaving pattern. I encourage you to create your own pattern variations in your next project! Have fun!

Show Notes –

Lee’s Surrender – When you research overshot patterns, one of the common names that pops up is “Lee’s Surrender”. And while I haven’t woven it myself, I wanted to get a better idea of what it was. So I found an entertaining and informative post to share with you. Check out this weaver’s journey with overshot and specifically with Lee’s Surrender.

Overshot Variations (using color) – Did you miss last week’s episode where I played with color? No worries – I’ve got you covered! Here’s a link so you can get up to speed.
