This is honeycomb, my friend! If that word makes you think of bees, you are on the right track.

In episode 76, I am walking you through the fabulous world of the honeycomb pattern. To create this curvy, dimensional weaving pattern, you simply need to watch a few spots when dressing the loom. Then, grab your two contrasting shuttles, and off you go! The bees will be jealous!

Show Notes –

Honeycomb on a rigid heddle – While I don’t own a rigid heddle loom, I’ve had occasions to play with one. I find them completely lovely – a perfect little starter loom! Schacht published a blog post all about creating honeycomb using this sweet little loom. Take a look here for more details.

Treadles and tie-ups – If you are interested in a refresher on all things treadles and tie-ups, I have just the ticket for you! In episode 35, I talked about that exact topic. (I even crawled underneath the loom – just for you!) You can see the entire video here.

October Weave Along –
