Let’s discuss how to mix and match weaving patterns!
This is part 2 of our Mix & Match series where we’ll be chatting about why you should consider mashing up multiple patterns in the same project. Are you open to the idea? Here we go!
Show Notes –
Floating Selvedges – In the video, I gave an example of why you might want to mix patterns in order to avoid using floating selvedges. But the truth is, floating selvedges are not hard to work with and they are life-savers in SO many patterns. So, I called upon the great Madelyn van der Hoogt to provide her thoughts on these special warp yarns. Click here to read all about it.
Waffle Weave – Have you tried waffle weave yet? It is a wonderful, dimensional pattern that is different from anything else. Refer back to my Waffle Weave Magic episode to see what it’s all about.
